{"name":"She Rolls Deep with an Army of Leopards","description":"The earth is the true home for us all. Not the walls we put up and stay behind in our apartment complexes or houses (if we are so lucky to have a place to shelter); but the meadows, the mountains, oceans, and rivers. Our human environment has created a deep separation between the human world and the natural world. We are constantly expanding, building skyrises, houses, and highways causing the displacement of the wildlife that used to inhabit those areas. In this erasure, we have forgotten how to connect with nature and the other creatures that we cohabit on this earth with, and in turn, the land and its creatures are suffering as we neglect, pollute and degrade the environment. Art is a powerful medium to reignite this vital reconnection between us as humans and the earth. I had the fortune to be born and reared in the woods of Vermont where the forest was my playground and companion. Because of this connection with the land, protecting and caring for our environment is at the core of how I move through this world. This is apparent in my work through the stories my paintings tell and the imagery I use: abundant with animals, insects, and plant life. It is an honor to support the work of Water Action Lab through my art. Water Action Lab is addressing these environmental issues while enlisting people from our community to be a part of the process, helping us to reconnect and strengthen our connection to our land and waterways.","image":"https://superworldnfts.s3.amazonaws.com/uEl5ee6wUq8hvw.jpg","creator":{"address":"0xa1ee43450d611457785d191e5c5d6d3b1d90ae0d"}}
